Position Overview:
We are looking for a skilled Data Engineer to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for designing, building, and maintaining data pipelines, ensuring seamless data integration and availability for analytics. You will work closely with data scientists, software engineers, and business stakeholders to deliver robust data solutions that meet organizational needs.
Requirement
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and develop scalable data pipelines to collect, transform, and store data from various sources.
- Optimize data architecture and infrastructure for performance, reliability, and scalability.
- Collaborate with data scientists and analysts to ensure data availability for analytics and machine learning models.
- Implement data validation, cleansing, and monitoring processes to ensure data quality and integrity.
- Maintain and improve existing ETL processes and workflows.
- Stay updated with the latest tools and technologies in data engineering and recommend improvements to enhance our platform.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree.
- 0-2+ years of experience in designing and implementing data pipelines.
- Proficiency in SQL is required; experience with Python, Java, or Scala is a plus.
- Experience with Big Data technologies like Apache Hadoop, Spark, or Kafka.
- Knowledge of cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud is a plus.
- Strong understanding of relational databases and data modeling.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
