Job Overview
We are seeking a Senior Solution Architect with 3+ years of experience in designing and delivering technology solutions. While expertise in Big Data infrastructure and architecture is an advantage, it is not a strict requirement. We are looking for candidates who have a solid understanding of general IT infrastructure, system architecture, and solution design — and are eager to grow into Big Data architecture.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, propose, and review end-to-end solution architectures that align with client requirements and business objectives.
- Work closely with sales, product, engineering, and delivery teams to create technical proposals, high-level designs, and system blueprints.
- Lead infrastructure and architecture discussions, providing recommendations on cloud, on-premise, or hybrid environments.
- Translate business requirements into technical specifications and architectural designs.
- Ensure solutions are aligned with enterprise architecture standards, best practices, and governance frameworks.
- Collaborate with developers, system engineers, and operations teams to guide implementation.
- Identify potential risks in proposed solutions and recommend mitigation strategies.
- Support pre-sales and proposal activities with architectural guidance and solution designs, as needed.
- Assist the implementation and deployment of solutions, assisting in troubleshooting and optimization.
Requirement
Experience
- Minimum 3 years of experience as a Solution Architect, System Architect, or a similar role in designing and delivering enterprise-level solutions.
- Proven track record in designing end-to-end architectures across infrastructure, applications, and integration layers.
- Experience working with cross-functional teams including sales, product, engineering, and operations.
Technical Skills
- Strong knowledge of general IT infrastructure, including networks, servers, storage, virtualization, and security principles.
- Solid understanding of solution architecture design patterns (e.g. integration, high availability, disaster recovery, security, scalability).
- Familiarity with cloud platforms (e.g. AWS, Azure, or GCP) and hybrid cloud environments.
- Ability to create architecture diagrams, technical documentation, and proposals.
Soft Skills
- Excellent communication and presentation skills — able to clearly convey complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Strong stakeholder management, with the ability to balance business needs and technical feasibility.
- Analytical thinking, problem-solving, and proactive risk identification.
- Team player with a collaborative mindset and the ability to lead discussions and workshops.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience or exposure to Big Data technologies (e.g. Hadoop, Spark, Kafka, NoSQL, Lakehouse architectures).
- Hands-on experience designing data pipelines, analytics solutions, or modern data platforms.
